Ambulance

Kirby Hospital Ambulance Service is recognized by the Illinois Department of Public Health as an Advanced Life Support Service. Our paramedic units are able to provide Advanced Life Support to adults, children, and infants. We serve our citizens 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with our highly trained EMT’s and Paramedics. Our fleet includes two Paramedic/ALS units and our employee roster includes ten Paramedics and eight EMT’s.

Our staff facilitates a number of essential community service programs including our Neighborhood Medic Home Visits, Adopt-A-Medic (school-related), and CPR/AED classes. You can find more information on these programs under “Community Services”.

Our ambulance service is involved in many public relations and teaching programs. These include, and are not limited to: CPR and AED classes for the general public and health care providers, EMT classes, assisting with obtaining AED’s for public facilities, Relay-for-Life and the Allerton Run, Fourth of July weekend at Lodge Park and Bement.
