Project Updates
Thank you for your continued interest in the progress of the Kirby Hospital Replacement Facility – Kirby Medical Center.
We are pleased to report that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has approved preliminary site work to begin on the 108 acres of land designated for Kirby Medical Center and its Medical Office Building.
An official groundbreaking event and community celebration is expected to be in late September. Details will be made available in the coming weeks.
We continue to host small group meetings for those people interested in learning more about the project and gaining some insight into the healing and thoughtful design and layout of the new Medical Center. If you'd like to attend a session, please contact Cindy Nelson at cindy.nelson@kirbyhospital.org and she will be pleased to make a reservation for you.
If you would like to receive updates on the project via email, please send a note to pam.kommer@kirbyhospital.org and she will add you to the list.
